About Melbourne Cable Park in Bangholme VIC
Melbourne Cable Park is Victoria's only cable wake park — a multi-activity outdoor centre on Riverend Road in Bangholme, about 35 minutes southeast of the CBD along Patterson River. Two full-size Sesitec cables run on separate lakes: the Main Lake clockwise with seven carriers, the Front Lake counter-clockwise with six. A two-tower beginner system handles first stands and private coaching before riders graduate to the big loops. Opened in 2015, the park runs year-round with obstacles on both lakes and rental gear included in every ticket. Beyond the cables, the complex houses an Aqua Fun Park, Climb Melbourne (urban high ropes), an outdoor cinema, and Mini Golf by Shanx — making it as much a family day out as a rider's training ground.
