About Bayside Wake Park in Carbrook QLD
Bayside Wake Park — formerly Cable Ski Logan — is a full-size cable on a single lake at Ferry Road in Carbrook, halfway between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. The loop runs counter-clockwise. Obstacles are pole-fixed so they hold a line, with kickers, rails, jumps, and wedges set around that lake. Opened in 2003 and host of the IWSF World Cable Wakeboarding Titles, the park is owned by Peter Wilkings, a former Australian Waterski team member and IWWF wakeboard judge. Adaptive wakeboarding sessions run on Tuesdays, a Chicks Clinic on Sundays, and lit night sessions every Wednesday in summer. An RFID armband system manages lake access, and the licensed café and Liquid Force pro shop sit dockside.
