About Laguna Wake Park in Fraijanes
Laguna Wake Park is a two-tower cable on a compact synthetic lagoon at kilometre 21.5 of the Carretera a El Salvador in Fraijanes, just east of Plaza Madero on the Guatemala City–El Salvador highway. The operator billed it as the first cable park in Guatemala and Central America: wakeboard and wakeskate on a straight-line pond, with an academy, private lessons, and last-weekend-of-the-month open-house sessions that include board and vest. The official website went offline in 2023 and 2024–2026 public proof is thin — treat a visit as call-ahead until a current season is confirmed. Opened in 2016. Google Maps still lists the Fraijanes place.
