Wollebrand Restaurant & Cablepark

Cablepark Wollebrand has been a Westland landmark since June 2002, when Waterski Centrum Wollebrand opened as the seventh cable site in the Netherlands. What began as a hobby behind the boat grew into a full cable park paired with hospitality—the combination of watersport and dining that the owners still describe as their winning formula. The main cable runs at about 30 km/h, a speed the site calls ideal for both waterskiing and wakeboarding. Professional instructors brief newcomers via an instruction film and on the dock, and the park welcomes individuals and groups from about age eight upward. When you fall you swim to shore and walk back to the start platform, so a session is built around repeated laps rather than boat pickups. Beyond the lake, Wollebrand is equally known as a restaurant and events venue with alpine-hut styling, two water-facing private rooms with terraces, and walking-dinner or borrel formats for larger groups. A major 2017 rebuild added dedicated watersport changing areas, an instruction room, and separate event space so the restaurant could stay open year-round.
