Water Ski Course Sneek

Water Ski Course Sneek — branded Waterskibaan Sneek — is the first waterski cable in Friesland, operating within Strand Sneek on the Sneekermeer at Offingawier since opening on 1 April 2017. The five-mast system was built in September 2016 and spans 770 metres running counterclockwise, with waterskiing, wakeboarding and kneeboarding for all ages from twelve upward. More than ten named obstacles line the course, from small, medium and large kickers through a funbox rooftop transfer, butter rail, pipe, china bank rail and flat banana rail, giving progressing riders a full park setup on the lake. The six-week FIRST-LAP Sunday-morning programme offers small-group coaching for complete beginners before the regular session crowds arrive. A waterside terrace with palm trees overlooks the cable, and Strand Sneek handles group outings, bachelor parties, sport days and aquapark children's parties on the same waterfront. Up to nine riders can be on the cable simultaneously, with a maximum of twenty-seven participants per hour.
