Wakepark Groningen

Wakepark Groningen sits on the Zilvermeer in the Kardinge recreation area just outside Groningen city, offering cable wakeboarding in a lakeside setting minutes from the urban centre. The park runs a state-of-the-art cable wakeboard system with adjustable speed and a course of wake obstacles geared toward progression from first rides through freestyle tricks and air work. Beyond the cable, visitors can wakeskate, stand-up paddle, funtube, bodyboard and kneeboard, with structured introduction lessons, a five-lesson beginners course, weekly jam sessions and dedicated training blocks such as Back 2 Basics and Progression Training. The Brilliant Boarders membership club adds year-round sessions, clinics and organised trips for regular riders. Groups can book kids' parties, bachelor parties and corporate team outings on the water, with optional lunch or BBQ arrangements at the small bar by the lake. Owner and coach Eun runs the facility as a certified training centre, and the park has become a hub for the regional wakeboard community.
