Umtamvuna River Lodge runs a two-tower cable on the Umtamvuna River at Banners Rest, Port Edward — a KZN South Coast watersports base with instructors for wakeboard and wakeskate from first starts through progressed freestyle. The cable line is set up with obstacles and hire gear; boat wake on the same stretch of river is a separate product if you want a different pull. A skate ramp sits about 30 m from the main building, with SUP, tube rides, speedboat runs and pontoon cruises sharing the riverside lodge campus, private beach and accommodation.
