About the park in China
Shunyi Olympic Cable Park sits on the 2008 Olympic rowing course in Shunyi, Beijing — a five-pylon Rixen full-size cable spanning the old regatta basin, with a floating start dock and free-hanging deflection pulleys built so the lift could live on a championship rowing lake. The same water hosted IWWF World Cup stops in 2013 and 2014, and the 2026 Cable Wakeboard & Wakeskate World Championships. You ride at the north end of a long Olympic campus that still runs rowing and sailing around the cable.
