About the park in Shanghai
Bihai Jinsha wakepark sits on a filtered seawater lagoon inside the Bihai Jinsha (Jade Sea) scenic area on Hangzhou Bay, in Fengxian at the south end of Shanghai — China’s first sea-water cable. A five-tower Rixen full-size loop of about 783 metres runs around the west basin; a separate 120-metre two-tower beginner straight handles first stands and coaching. This is a regular championship water. IWWF Cable Waterski World Cup stops ran here from 2014, and China’s National Cable Championships returned in 2025, with another edition scheduled in 2026. Features sit on the main lap — a few new ones were added before the 2025 nationals. The same campus is a full beach day: golden sand, swimming lagoon, aquapark, and a water-sports base for sailing, paddle, and ski beside the cables.
