About Josh Dutchak Memorial Cable Park in SK S7P 0E4
Josh Dutchak Memorial Cable Park — Sask Cable Park to riders — sits on the 64th Street Water Retention Pond in north Saskatoon. An electric two-tower straight-line reverses at each end for a continuous cycle; the park calls it the longest straight-line in Canada, with a clean 15-minute session covering about five kilometres. Wakeboarding is the main pull, from first stands through training, with sliders, kickers, and rails for advanced riders. Beginner waterski and trick-ski sessions happen here too, and adaptive water ski is on offer as capacity grows. Riding is organised with Waterski and Wakeboard Saskatchewan — membership is required — and the park is registered with Waterski Wakeboard Canada.
