Waterski Twente on Het Rutbeek in Enschede has been the region's cable waterski and wakeboard address since May 1993. The homepage promises the Netherlands' most attractive obstacle setup and the only true waterside terrace with palm trees and a beach vibe in the city—a place to ride hard or simply watch tricks over a drink. The wakeboard course is laid out for every level, with a long list of named features from Hardworks kickers and rails to custom pieces such as Sam de Haan and De witte vink. Obstacle access is managed together with the local Wakeclub, founded in 2013 by dedicated Twente riders who maintain and expand the park features. A Sunday-morning Wakeschool has coached youth for more than twenty years. Off the water the site doubles as a party venue for roughly 30 to 300 guests with covered terrace, indoor bar space, and barbecue or buffet add-ons. Cable operation follows the classic tow-lift principle: an electric motor drives a closed loop where multiple riders—up to eight or ten at once—clip in on separate lines. Maximum public capacity is about 35 riders per slot.
