Wakeboard Alternative is the Sofia-area cable club on Bratushkovo Reservoir near Slivnitsa — about 30 km west of the capital. Founded in 2017 by local riders (and heir to the Roboboard crew), the base has run two bidirectional System 2.0 lines here since 2018, with a feature park aimed at progressive riding rather than a resort complex. Expect a community cable day: hire gear, coaching for first sessions, and a line-up of water features when the season is on. Check the club Instagram for open days before you drive out.
