Wake Zone Stawiki

Wake Zone Stawiki is a sports, recreation, and leisure complex that can be used as a wakeboarding (wake park) and water skiing complex, connected in 2013 by members of the Polish national water skiing team. It is located in the Stary Sosnowiec district of Sosnowiec on the Stawiki reservoir near the People's Stadium. It was officially opened on June 29, 2014. It began operations with one 2.0 lift, which features alternating movement between service poles across the pond. In the 2017 season, the first large 5.0 lift in Silesia, supported by 5 poles, appeared here. Along with the new water lift, many new functions were available, and new infrastructure was created, including catering, a shop, locker rooms, toilets, and showers. At the time of opening, it was the most modern facility of its kind in Poland.
