About the park in Tel Aviv-Yafo
Lake TLV is Israel’s only cable water-ski and wakeboard site, on a man-made lake in Menachem Begin Park (Park Darom) in south Tel Aviv. A late-1980s cable was rebuilt in 2013 as a Rixen five-pylon full-size loop around the whole lake — about 860 metres, counterclockwise — still home to the national team and IWWF nationals. The school, rental, and bar-restaurant sit on the eastern shore by the launch. A second, smaller basin on the same campus is used for inflatables (AQUA LAKE), SUP, and other water play, with Begin Park lawns and fitness around the compound.
