About Green Island Cable Park in Salmiya
Green Island Cable Park is a five-mast full-size loop on the interior seawater lagoon at Green Island, off Arabian Gulf Street in Kuwait City — Kuwait’s first overhead cable, opened in 2020 for wakeboard, waterski, and kneeboard without a boat. Kickers and rails sit in the lagoon. The 1988 island around it still has a 35-metre tower, amphitheatre, train, and playground. The masts and floating features are still standing; treat the pin as standing kit, not a confirmed 2026 session, while the island is discussed for redevelopment.
