Brownstone Adventure Sports Park

Brownstone Adventure Sports Park is Connecticut’s cable, on a flooded 19th-century brownstone quarry in Portland — under thirty minutes from Hartford and New Haven. Three System 2.0s share the quarry water: two beginner lines and one advanced run with jumps and rails. The cable pulls you up and sends you straight; turns come later. Beginner boards ride with the wakeboard pass; rails and ramps need your own board or the jump/rail rental kit. The same quarry is a full adventure campus: eleven zip lines into the water, cliff jumping, brownstone-wall climbs over seventy feet with a harness and belayer, a rope swing, inflatable swim obstacles, a waterslide, kayaks and paddleboards, and snorkeling. The Food Shack and brick-oven pizza sit on shore; the Sport Shack stocks Liquid Force boards. Summer competitions run on the cables.
