Base Nautique Mercus Téléski

Base Nautique Mercus sits on a 45-hectare mountain lake at Mercus-Garrabet in Ariège — a long-running communal leisure base under the Pyrénées. The electric full-size cable runs a loop of about 760 metres with room for eight riders at once; wakeboard, waterski, kneeboard and wakeskate share the line, with a recovery boat for falls. Three features — two kickers and a flat box — give intermediates something to hit without turning the lake into a contest park. Sandy beach, shaded picnic ground, beach volleyball, paddle and pedalos round out family days beside the Maison du Lac restaurant terrace.
